Act #21: Ambassadress

Passé composé of pronominal verbs

Valérie: Aujourd’hui, dans notre première leçon de grammaire, nous allons continuer à étudier... the pronominal verbs.
Michelle: Pronominal verbs... nous les avons étudiés... avant mon opération si je ne me trompe pas... n’est-ce pas ?
Valérie: Oui, it was lesson 16, to be precise.
Michelle: Well, I've taken lots of pain killers since then. Je crois que j’ai tout oublié Valérie.
Valérie: Michelle, you just used a pronominal verb.
Michelle: Ah bon ?
Valérie: Oui... you said ‘si je ne me trompe pas.’
Michelle: Ah... I remember now... pronominal verbs are the ones with the se in front.
Valérie: Exactement.
Michelle: Ah ! Je les connais tous ! S’appeler, s’habiller, se laver, s’amuser, se tromper... je continue ?
Valérie: Non, non, ça va. Est-ce que vous pouvez conjuguer un verbe pronominal au présent ?
